Ghana Education service is looking to meet professional and support services to discuss our pre-tertiary requirements as per the sub-sectors indicated below

Profile

  • The Ghana Education Service is responsible for pre-tertiary education in Ghana. We currently have various educational projects ongoing and would need to identify suitable UK partners.
  • Interested in administration and management systems that can help us better co-ordinate activities of 216 district education offices in Ghana. 
  • To find and engage with school buildings and equipment supplies that would be interested in working with us on school expansion projects.

Current Projects:

The government of Ghana as part of its commitment to construct 200 Community Day Senior High Schools, the construction of 123 schools has commenced in earnest with 100 schools being funded by government and 23 schools by the World Bank. Three schools have been completed at Otuam, Bamianko and Nkwanta. Ten additional schools are expected to be completed by the end of the year. An amount of $350M has been allocated for educationalprojects and we would be interested in identifying UK partners for possible collaboration.Following the passage of the Bill by Parliament for the establishment of the 

University of Environment and Sustainable Development in the Eastern Region,Construction works for the university will commence in 2016, again another opportunity for UK supply chain to tap into.
